Uskumatu, kui hästi võib tavaline salat maitseda! Otsustasin, et ma pole pikalt värsket täiesti tavalist kapsa-kurgi-tomati salatit saanud. Ostsis siis kogu materjali, viskasin asjad kokku (+ Mozarella juust) ning voila! Mõnus õhtusöök olemas, mis maitses tõesti nagu unelm!! Turu asukoha pean selgeks tegema, sest poest juurvilju osta on kuulduste kohaselt 2 korda kallim...
Teisipäeval oli meil vaba päev, kuid need vabad ja mittevabad päevad lähevad täpselt sama kiiresti.
Seega oli ka esimene kord, kus käisime siin väljas söömas. Koha nimi oli Beagles and Beans ning mega nomnomnom toit oli tegelikult. Kõhutäie eest tasusin 7€, mis on võrreldav Tallinnas väljas söömisega. Vapiano on ka kesklinnas täiesti olemas, ehk kunagi külastan (sealt mööda minnes tuleb suur Tallinna igatsus). Praegu siiski üritamine kodus enam-vähem toituda, lihtsalt kulude kokkuhoidmiseks.
Lisaks olen saavutanud järgnevat:
Sain oma esimesed kooliraamatud (kasutatud)
Esitasin lõppude lõpuks Tallinna Ülikooli lahkumisavalduse
Olen ametlikult Haagi koolis sees
Käisin pangas, tegin avalduse kaardi jaoks (nädala pärast peaks kätte saama)
Ostsin rattale kotikese, roosat värvi, pakiraamile (poest saab asju tuua näiteks)
Teha on veel vaja järgnevat:
Registreerida munitsipaalametis (võib olla probleem, kuna meie korter on mõeldud kahele inimesele)
Telefoninumbrid teha
Ülejäänud raamatud osta (tõesti tüütu, et kõik tuleb ise soetada)
INTERNET SAADA
.... mm, elu nautida :)
Eile oli tudengifestival linnas, hops ratta selga ning üritusele! Kõik joovad õlut, naeravad ja naudivad DJ'd, kes kusjuures oli tõesti päris kuulatav! Pärast oli afterparty Haagi suurimas klubis (saime tasuta piletid!). Klubi oli tõesti lahe! Suur, kaks erinevad ala. Huvitav oli see, et klubis olid seifid asjade hoidmiseks- ehk oma jaki/ koti pistad seifi, paned ise pin-koodi. Kahju on ainult nendest, kes suudavad õhtu jooksul tarbitud alkoholi koguse tõttu selle koodi ära unustada.
Täna käisin korra koolis, toimus väike intervjuu! Ehk minu coach (klassi õpetaja ehk?!) lihtsalt uuris minu kohta, kus-mida õppinud olen, kellega elan, kas on probleeme jne. Ei olnud midagi keerulist ega hirmsat.
Täna ööbib üks Saksa poiss meie juures, tal pole elukohta veel siiani ning otsustasime, et saame teda siis üks öö majutada. Lisaks läheme õhtul parki (parki, mis asub Coldplay kontserti kõrval) ning teeme seal pikniku (ja loodetavasti kuuleme Coldplay'd!). Ehk isegi liigume ühele teisele peole täna :)
Homme on ametlik KICK-OFF koolis ehk ametlik veerandi algus.
Muideks- siiamaani kõik inimesed kõnelevad inglise keelt väga heal tasemel.
It's unbelievable how tasty a salad can be! I realized that I haven't had a fresh lettuce-cucumber-tomato salad for ages. So I bought all the necessary things, throw them together (+ Mozarella cheese) and voila! And tasty dinner is ready! Though the next time I definitely need to find a market to buy vegetables because as far as I have heard they are twice the price in the shops...
On Tuesday we had a day off but the free days go as quickly as the scheduled ones. This was the first time I went out here to eat. The place was called Beagles and Beans and the food there was actually very good! I paid 7€ which can be compared to dining out in Tallinn. They also have Vapiano in the city center and every time I pass it I miss Tallinn. At the moment we are trying to dine in most of the time just to keep our expenses lower..
Also I have done the following:
I got my first books for uni (second-hand)
I am fully enrolled in The Hague University
Went to bank and applied for an account (should receive my card within a week)
Bought a nice pink bag for my bike to carry stuff
Need to do the following:
Register in The City Hall (might be a problem as our flat is meant for 2)
Get a local phone number
Buy the rest of the books (annoying that I have to buy all the books myself)
GET WIFI
enjoy life :)
Yesterday there was a festival in the center for students- so jumped on the bike and to the festival! Everyone drinks beer, laughs and enjoy DJ who was actually quite good! Later on there was an after-party in the biggest club in The Hague (we got ourselves free tickets!). The club was quite cool! In was interesting that they had safes for keeping your stuff - so basically left my jacket in a safe and put a pin code whichever I liked. I only feel sorry for those who manage to forget their pin after having a bit more drinks than they should..
Today I had a small interview in the uni. My coach was just asking about me, where and what have I been studying, with who and where do I live, do I have any problems etc. Nothing special and nothing scary. Today we have one German guy sleeping over here cause he still hasn't found himself a place to live. So we decided that we could offer him a place to stay for one night. Also we will go to park which is next to Coldplay concert! Going to have a small picnic and hopefully listen to some of the concert too!
Tomorrow there's an official kick-off for uni.
By the way- so far all the people speak very good English.
