Jõulutunne?!

Jõulud. On ukse ees. Kohe. Varsti. 

Ehk teisisõnu, kõik inimesed paistavad olevat mingisuguses suures Jõuluvaimustuses (kohati on see nakkav ja ma muutun ka väga entusiastlikuks selle teema osas). 

Kuid üldiselt, peab tunnistama, on tegemist siiski tarbimisühiskonnaga ehk inimesed lihtsalt ostavad tonnide viisi igasuguseid (kohati mõttetuid) kingitusi teineteisele. Jah, juba preagu, kui Jõuludeni on veel 22 päeva. Kuid võib-olla on see Hollandis õigustatud hetkel, kuna nii palju kui ma aru olen saanud, siis Sinterklaas (ehk kingituste jagamine) on siin juba järgneval nädalal. 

Mul on väikene koduigatsus. Ausaltöeldes, pole see päris koduigatsus vaid... Mingi teistsugune tunne. Mul on liiga palju tegemist siin, et koduigatsust mul lihtsalt ei jõua tekkida, kuid samal ajal ootan ma aina rohkem 20. detsembrit, kui ma Eesti pinnale saabun. 

Koolinädal läks jälle kiiresti. Trenn, kool, kodu ja õppimine. Selline mu elu on hetkel. Täna lõpetasime oma Brandingu projekti, ehk Sofia brändi tegemine. Ütleme nii, et valisime päris kummalise viisi antud linna promomiseks ning tõenäoliselt ükski teine grupp sellise idee peale ei tulnud... Iseasi, kas õppejõud jääb rahule meie projektiga. Loodame parimat.

Reedel aga käisime väljas. Üle pika aja (vähemalt selline tunne on, et polnud väga ammu väljas käinud). Kõige pealt oli üks pidulikum üritus ühe õpilasesinduse poolt (Alise on liige ning ta võttis minu oma kaaslaseks). Päris lõbus oli, tasuta alkohol tegi inimesed muidugi väga sotsiaalseteks olevusteks. 

Väga pikalt seal ei viibinud vaid otsustasime linna peale minna. Õhtu lõppes mul kell 5 hommikul, kuid see-eest näidati mulle uusi pubisid/baare, kus inimesed hommikutundideni tantsu löövad. Päris huvitavaid kohti leidub (loe: üks hullem kui teine) :)

Kahe päeva pärast saabub Eelin külla! Imekombel on meil järgneva nädala tunniplaan täiesti pea peale keeratud (pooled tunnid jäävad ära, osad on erinevatele aegadele lükatud), nii et mul on palju rohkem aega Eeliniga hängida, kui algselt arvasin. Üks päev käime kindlasti Amsterdamis, teine päev võib-olla Rotterdami ning ülejäänud aja Haagis. Ja muidugi pean talle ühte siinset tudengipidu näitama. Tõenäoliselt blogi ei kirjuta nüüd nädal aega, kuid luban, et peale seda tuleb palju pilte meie trippimistest :)

Christmas. Almost. Almost here.

Basically everyone seems to be very into Christmas already (in parts I feel the same when I suddenly start to feel very motivated buying gifts).

But I must admit that it is same everywhere- it is based on consuming/ buying as many gifts as possible to each other (and half of the gifts are pretty pointless). Yes, people are already buying gifts even though it is 22 days til Christmas. Then again, maybe in the Netherlands they have the right to do so as they have Sinterklaas in the next week (this is what I have understood and that's the day Dutch people are exchanging gifts). 

I am bit homesick. Honestly, it is not exactly homesickness... It is some other feeling. I have way too many assignments and things to do atm so I don't have time for homesickness but some how with each day I feel more and more that I can't wait til the 20th of December (I'll get home then). 

The school week went quickly again. Gym, school, home and studying. This is how my life is atm. We finished our branding assignment today, the one where we had to brand Sofia. Let's say that we found a very weird way to brand it and probably no other group will come up with that... The other thing is that I'm really hoping our lecturer will like it. Hope for the best. 

On Friday we went out! After a long time (at least it feels like that!). First of all, had one more formal party which was organized by one Student organization (Alise is a member of the team and she took me as her date). It was quite fun and of course free alcohol makes people very sociable.. as always. Well, we weren't bothered to be there for too long so we headed to the center. My night ended at 5AM and I went to some pubs/ bars which I hadn't seen before and people are up there til the early morning. Anyways, the places were pretty interesting (read: some where even worse than others :D)

In two days my lovely friend Eelin will get here! Somehow the next week's time schedule is a total mess (half of the lessons are cancelled and some are moved to another times), so I have more free time to spend with Eelin! We will visit Amsterdam, the other day will maybe go to Rotterdam and the rest will spend in The Hague. And of course I got to show her at least one proper student party. Probably won't be writing a blog in the upcoming week but I promise that I will add lots of photos after that! :)

Also, will add photos for that post later on (I'm still waiting for some of the photos to be sent to me).
