kuna ma ei jaksa enam õppida, siis lisan pilte eilsest Halloweeni peost

Pikka juttu mul ka rääkida pole.

Eesti suursündmused seisnevad hetkel lumes nagu kõiksugused (sotsiaal) meediakanalid mulle teavitavad. Võin lohutuseks öelda, et meil on ka suur külmalaine siin. Rattaga sõita on ikka kuradi külm (kuskil 5-6 kraadi õues), kuid õnneks täna sai päikest ka üle pika aja näha. Seega stiilne oli olla vana-vanaema kootud käpikutega, suure karvamütsiga ja päikseprillidega. 

Eilne läks hästi, ma ausaltöeldes ei tunne osadel piltidel ise-ennastki väga ära. Nalja sai õhtu jooksul palju, klubi oli rahvusvahelisi tudengeid täis ning enam-vähem kõik olid kostümeeritud (mis on ainult positiivne). Siinkohal annan "sõna" piltidele, kuna lihtsalt puudub jaks kirjeldada seda karnevali (ning ema tahtis ka näha, mis Halloweeni pidu siis endast ette kujutab). Kokkuvõttes, pidu oli hea ning täna oli ka päris "hea" olla... :)

Prr, ja ainult üks päev veel eksamiteni (ja esmaspäeval on ka kahe suure projekti tähtajad. Ühe lõpetasin just 5 minutit tagasi, teine vajab veel viimaseid lihvimisi homme).

 See tegelane oli end lihtsalt tualett-paberi sisse sättinud.

Need kaks pilti (nunnad ja nunna jalg) on ühed õhtu parimad. See ülemine on lihtsalt nii geniaalne.

So, I don't have much to say.

In Estonia, the biggest news are currently about the snow, at least that's what I hear through every (social) media channel. I can say that it is freaking cold here too. Riding a bike is freeeezing (it's around 5-6 degrees outside), luckily the sun was shining today over a really long time. So I was really awesome today riding around with my grate-grandmother made mittens, a big hairy hat and sunglasses on. 

Yesterday went well, to be honest I can't recognize myself from some of the photos done yesterday. The evening was about lots of fun, the club was full of international students again and most of them had some kind of costume on (which is only positive!). Just loot at the photos cause I am way too tired by now to start describing yesterday's carnival ;) (Also, my mum wanted to see these photos). Generally, the party was good and today the feeling is pretty "good" too... :)

ohhhh, and only 1 day to go until the exams (also, there are 2 assignments to be handed in on Monday. Finished one around 5 minutes ago, the second one needs to be finished tomorrow).

ma ei oleks iial arvanud, et voodi võib nii õnnelikuks teha

Jap, ma sain endale lõpuks voodi. Mis ta võttis: 2 kuud. Algne plaan oli, et emme-issi tulevad külla ja siis nemad on nii armsad-lahked-toredad ning ostavad mulle voodi, kuid plaanid muutuvad. Ehk emme-issi ei tule mulle (hetkel) külla. Kuid õnneks Rene isa oli täna nii tore (tal on sünnipäev ka täna, seega palju õnne veel kord), et käisime kõik koos Delfti (kõrvallinna) avastamas ning seal on ka meie kallis IKEA, kus siis soetasin voodi ja laua ja termose. Ja küünlad. 

Projekt VOODI:

Kulus 1,5 tundi.

2 korda suutsin oma blondimõistusega osad jupid valesti kokku panna. 

Punetav pöial käib asja juurde.

Ning suurepärane-hüper-super-mõnus tunne, et mul on voodi. Ja laud. Ja ilus tuba.

(Tuba näeb küll visuaalselt väiksem välja jälle, kuna voodi siiski võtab ruumi, kuid armas on ta ikka). 

Peale pikka väsitavat päeva (ärme unusta siinkohal, et päev pole veel läbi), peaks oma õpikud lahti võtma. Ning paar peatükki läbi lugema. Noh, ikka selleks, et eksamitel edukalt esineda. 

Delft'i linnake oli kena, ilus ja ehtne Hollandi linn. Ehk täis kanaleid ja 2-3 suurt kirikut kuulusid asja juurde. Lisaks oli muidugi kesklinnas suur turg, mis muudab linna veel rohkem hollandi päraseks. 

Ning, päeva tipphetk- postkasti saabus ametlik kinnitus, et ma olen registreeritud munitsipaalametis (käisin seda esmaspäeval nõudmas uuesti).

Lihtsalt väga-väga tore päev (ning kes teab, võib veelgi paremaks minna!!).

(Title of the post: Never thought that a bed could make someone so happy)

Yeah, I finally got myself a bed. It took 2 months. First I thought that my parents are coming over (around now) and they would be so cute-kind-nice that they will buy me a bed. But plans change. So my mum and dad are not coming over (at the moment). But luckily Rene's dad was so nice today (he has a birthday too, so happy-happy birthday to him again), that we went all together sightseeing in Delft (town next the The Hague) and of course in Delft there's IKEA. Got myself a bed, a small table and some candles.

Project BED:

It took 1,5 hours.

Managed to put some parts together in a wrong way twice (with my blond brain)

Red thumb goes with the building (putting parts together).

And a super-hyper-great feeling, that I have a bed. And a table. And a really nice room.

(The room seems visually smaller but nevertheless I love it)

After long and tiring day (let's don't forget the fact that the day is not over yet!), I should open my books. Read few chapters.. Well, to perform well on my first exams of course.

The city of Delft itself was nice, pretty and real Dutch city I would say. So, it was full of nice canals, there were 2-3 big churches and of course there was an open market in the main square (I assume it was a main square). This makes it even more Dutch in my point of view. 

Oh, and the best part of the day- I received an official letter from municipal agency that I have been registered here (went to ask for that on Monday again...) :) 

Generally, an extremely good day (and who knows, the day may even get better!!).

Ilm on ja ei ole. Ehk segav vihm takistab mul õigel ajal turule minna, kuid pole hullu- reedel on uus võimalus minna häid puuvilju jahtima. 

Kas Hollandlaste jaoks on rattasõit justkui ralli?

Ei imestaks, kui rattasõit või õigemini, rattaralli tipptunni liikluses võetakse vastu kui uus spordiala siin. Alati, kui võtan eesmärgiks rahulikult rattaga oma sihtpunkti jõuda, tunnen end kui kilpkonn. Tunnen, et jään kõigile jalgu (kodaratesse). Kõikidel on alati nii kiire oma ratastega. Rattaselga istudes on vist põhiline see, et sa ikka kõigist korraga mööda kimaksid ja punase foori alt kiiresti-kiiresti läbi sõita, et mitte juhuslikult autolt lööki saada. Ehk adrenaliin peab ikka kõrge olema ning kiirus parajalt suur, et autode vahel hästi manööverdada.

Ilmselgelt olen rattaga täna kokkupuutunud. Ehk käisin linnas. 

Käisin linnas kooki söömas ja kohvi joomas. Ja mööda ökopoode kookosõli taga ajamas (mida ma kokkuvõttes ei saanudki). Kook oli hea, kohvi oli veel parem ja klassiõega jutustamine üle mitme-mitme päeva oli veelgi parem. 

Ökopoed: õigemini on tegemist toidupoodidega, mis müüvad ainult ökokaupu (võib-olla osad tooted pole päris öko, ma nii täpselt ei uurinud). Kuid need poed on lihtsalt nii mõnusad. Esiteks, seal pole rahvast väga palju (võrreldes tavapoodidega). Teiseks, need on lihtsalt nii armsa atmosfääriga, ma ei teagi, mis seda põhjustab (kallid hinnad ehk?!). Leidsin ühe poe, kus osad tooteliinid kattuvad mu kalli emme poekesega, veidikene kodutunnet ehhe :) Hetkel kahjuks väga toiduaineid ökopoest siiski ei osta, kuna majanduslik pool vajab pidevat järelvalvet, kuid tulevikus kindlasti. 

Renél tuli isa külla ning mind hoiatati praegu hetk tagasi, et pean nendega mõned shotid tegema. Ehk absinthe nendega proovima... Eks näeb, kas nii kange kraami peale läheb shottide tegemine, kuid Eestist toodud viina pean ma küll René isal proovida laskma :)

Ning võib-olla jõuan veel mõned peatükid brändingu raamatust lugeda... 

 Pühapäeva õhtul otsustasime muffineid tehaaaa, njomnjomnjom.

I'm diving into my cake- obviously extremely happy (who could resist the happiness cheesecakes bring us?!)

The weather is and isn't. The disturbing rain stopped me to go to the market today but never mind- on Friday I have a new chance. 

Is riding a bike for Dutch people like a rally?

I wouldn't be surprised if riding a bike, or rather riding a bike as fast as possible in rush-hours, would be named as a national sports here. Every time I'm taking time for myself to ride a bike nicely, enjoy weather etc, I feel like a turtle. I feel I am on other people's way. Everyone is in such a hurry when they are on their bikes. It seems that when you sit on a bike the main aim is that you would pass everyone on your way, cross the roads with red lights as quick as possible (avoiding the possibility to get hit by a car). Adrenaline must be high and the speed must be great. 

Obviously I have been riding my bike today - went to the center. 

Went to the city center to eat a cake and have a cup of coffee. And to wander around organic food shops, aim was to get coconut oil (and I didn't find it). The (cheese)cake was good, coffee was even better and to have a good girls-talk with one of my classmates was even better. 

Organic food shops are so cool around here. First of all, they are not as busy as the normal shops are. Secondly, for some reason there's a really cool atmosphere which I love, I even don't know why (maybe cause of high prices, hehe?!). Found one shop where some of the product lines are the same as my mum's organic shop in Tallinn, gives a little feeling of home :) 

René's dad came over and I was just warned a few minutes ago that I have to take some shots with them. Well, to try Absinthe with them... We will see if it's gonna be that tonight but I def will give them to try Estonian vodka which I still have ;) 

And maybe I can do some more reading later on... yay.

another week gone by

Täpselt 2 kuu pärast saan ma jälle Eestisse. See selleks (sinnani veel nii palju aega, kuid tõenäoliselt läheb see aeg vääääääga kiiresti). 

Igastahes, nädal möödus järjekorselt liigagi kiirelt. Noh, et enda meelest teha ei jõudnud eriti midagi ning juba  uus nädal ukse ees. 

Kuna koolis oli nüüd viimane nädal (algav nädal on meil eksamiteks ettevalmistumine), siis kõik õppejõud rääkisid/ hirmutasid meid eksamitega. Õnneks öeldi, et me väga palju ka ei põeks, kuna siiski tegemist on meie esimeste eksamitega siin. Kuid kõik näidis-ülesanded/ küsimused, mida meile see nädal demonstreeriti, olid küllalt hirmuäratavad. Tegingi endale just nimekirja asjadest, mis vaja õppida. 

Lühidalt nädalast:

• Kasutan lõppudelõpuks oma Hollandi pangakaarti. Yeeesh, ma saan koolis kohvi osta ning vajalikke asju välja printida (mõistagi väikese tasu eest). 
• Kõik viimased projektid said valmis kirjutatud ja õppejõududele esitatud (loodetavasti siis positiivsetele tulemustele, see selgub 29.ks oktoobriks). 
• Halloweeni "kostüümi" idee on mul olemas. Mitte midagi väga erilist, kuid täna näiteks ostsin... uuuu, kunst-verd ühest kostüümi poest :) 
• Haag on õpilastest veidi tühi hetkel, kuna enamused läksid see nädal koju tagasi vahenädalaks. Preagu olen järjekordselt Rene'ga kahekesti korteris.
• Ilm on soe (kui veab, siis ei saja ning temperatuur on kuskil 15-18 kraadi)
• Ostsin maailma parimat mangot turult (Eestis pole kordagi nii magusat mangot saanud)
• Käisime mööda kunstigaleriisid Renega täna. Päris huvitavaid töid leidub seal. 
• Käisin avastamas Haagi üht suurimat parki, mis asub meist ainult 1,2 km kaugusel, kuid ma polnud siiani sinna jõudnud. 

Ja ega ma polegi midagi rohkem teinud. Kooliga seonduv on põhiline... 

Oi, ning ma olen hetkel sõltuvuses Grey Anatoomiast (paistab, et enamused tudengid vaatavad siin sarju arvutist, kuna vähestel on privileeg omada telekat koos töötavate kanalitega).

Käisime 8tea5, ehk siis Bubbled Tea'd joomas. Tegemist on siis teega, kuhu sisse on pandud mullid. Mitte päris mullid, vaid mingisugused kuulikesed (ise saad maitsed valida). Mul oli virsiku tee koos maasika mullidega, nämmmmm. 

Went to 8tea5 to drink Bubbled Tea. It doesn't have real bubbles but some kind of chewy bubbles and you can choose the flavors yourself. I had peach tea with strawberry bubbles, yummmmyy

 In Exactly 2 months I will be back in Estonia. But it doesn't matter at the moment as it's such a long time away but the time will probably fly again.

Anyways, the week went pass quickly, way too quickly again. What I mean is that I feel that I didn't manage to do much and already a new week is starting.

Cause we had our last week in this term (the following week is for prep for the exams) then all the lecturers kept talking about the exams. Luckily we were told not to worry too much as these are our first exams here BUT... But as we were shown couple of example questions I started worrying. Seriously, they weren't the easiest ones. Not to complain too much, I made myself a to do list for prep of the exams. 

Shortly about my week:

• I'm finally using my Dutch bank account. Yeaah, I can finally buy coffee in the uni and print out stuff (obviously for a little fee)
• Handed in all my final assignments for this term (hopefully for positive grades)
• I have an idea for my Halloween costume! Not to give too much details out here (it's nothing special to be honest), but I bought myself a fake-blood today, prrr! 
• The Hague is quiet at the moment as most of the students went back home for this week. I'm again with Rene in the flat, just two of us. 
• The weather is pretty warm (if lucky, then it doesn't rain and the temperature is around 15-18 degrees)
• I bought the best mango in the market (I have never had this sweet mango in Estonia). 
• Went to visit some art galleries in town today. They had quite some good works there
• Went to discover one of the biggest parks in the Hague which is only 1,2 km from us (but for some reason it was my first time there). 

And that's basically it. Most of the things I have been busy with are related to uni work... 

Oh, and I'm addicted to Grey's Anatomy at this point (it seems that most of the uni students watch series online here as only few of us have the privilege to own a working TV).
