Lõpetan parasjagu hommikusööki (ma tean, et see tegevus on täna hiljapeale jäänud). 

Parampampaa, ülevaade minu/ meie saavutustest möödunud nädalal:

Natukene koolis asju ajamas käidud, natukene linna avastamas käidud. 

Lisaks, külastasime tüdrukutega Amsterdami teisipäeval! Vihma sadas vahelduva eduga, kuid meeleolu ning Amsterdami tunnetus oli see kord kuidagi palju-palju positiivsem! Võib-olla aitas kaasa fakt, et tegemist oli siiski teisipäevase päevaga ning turiste oli tunduvalt vähem. Samuti oli ka Punaste Laternate tänav tüdrukutest tühi. Kanepilõhn tänaval polnud aga kuskile kadunud.

Alguses tiirutasime kesklinnas niisama ringi, mängisime turiste käies juustupoodides kõiksugu juuste tarkade nägudega degusteerimas, vaatasime suu ammuli seks-poodide vaateaknaid ning nautisime head seltskonda. Lisaks külastasime üht Lilleturu kõrvaltänava Itaalia restorani, kus me olime ainukesed kliendid alguses, kuid hinnad olid see-eest veidi mõistlikumad võrreldes teiste kesklinna restoranidega. Järgmiseks leppisime kokku, et tiirutame veel ringi (külastasime kõiksugu ilusaid poode ja imetlesime 200€ kingi..) ning otsime ühe nunnu kohviku, kus maailma parimat kooki süüa. Juhuslikult tänaval kõndides märkasingi üht kohvikut, kus olid vaateaknal väga uhked koogid! Tormasime sisse, just tol hetkel vabanes üks laud seal (tegemist oli väga pisikese kohvikuga, kus oli kõigest 3 lauda) ning iga üks võttis ühe tüki kooki. Aiiii, ja noo need koogid olid taevalikud!! (Täpselt selline kohvikuke, kuhu ma viiksin oma vanemad, kui nad mulle ühel toredal päeval külla tulevad!). Kõhud nii punni söödud kui võimalik, jalutasime (samal ajal huvi pakkuvatest poodidest läbi hüpates) tagasi Amsterdami Central Station'i poole. 

Kolmapäevane päev oli kodune, samas ajasin palju asju korda. Positiivselt üllatas mind näiteks Eesti Haigekassa, kellele saatsin kolmapäeva õhtul oma digiallkirjastatud dokumendid, et õpin ikka Euroopa Liidus ning soovin pikendada oma ravikindlustust. Vastus saabus juba järgneval varahommikul, et kõik on juba korda aetud. Tõesõna- positiivne üllatus. 

Aaaaaaa, ja muidugi ma ei saa mainimata jätta, et käisime Bondi kinos vaatamas. Jep, esmane kinokülastus Hollandis. Esiteks, piletikassasid pole. On hoopis piletiautomaadid, kus valid ise piletid ja kohad. Hollandi keeles tuli väga keeruline tekst ette, kuid kolm pead on siiski kolm pead ning loogilise mõtlemisega saime jagu. Kino ise oli SUUR! Kui mulle Inglismaa kinosaalid üldse ei sümpatiseerunud, siis siinne kino oli hoopis midagi muud. Moderne, lihtne ning suur. Hinnaklass on kahjuks teine teema, pileti eest tudengikaardiga peab tasuma vähemalt 7€... Bond ise oli muidugist megalahe! :)

Eile hüppasin päeval ratta selga ning otsustasin minna natukene Haagi avastama. Siin on väga ilusaid piirkondi,  kuhu pole kordagi sattunud (ja neid piirkondi on siin veel ikka kõvasti!). Käisin Rahupaleed vaatamas, mis oli ilus. Tõesti. Siis otsustasin sealt üles leida Eesti Suursaatkonna, kuid ma eksisin ära. Jah, ma tiirutasin teadmatuse suunas. Kuid säilitasin külma mõistuse ning nautisin antud olukorda. Lõpuks jõudsin omadega Central Stationi juurde, kus ma umbes teadsin, kuidas tagasi kesklinna saada. Aga väga mõnus oli niimoodi üksi seigelda ja Haagi avastada. Lõppude lõpuks leidsin Eesti Suursaatkonna ka, sini-must-valge lipp lehvis juba kaugelt sel pisikesel saatkonnal.

Järgmisest nädalast hakkab teine veerand. Tunniplaan on muutunud, nüüd on teisipäevad vahetevahel vabad. Ülejäänud päevad peab korralikult koolis käima. 

Ahjaa- eksamid... Noh, siiani olen üpris rahul. Turunduse hinne tuli 7,2 ning Introduction to Communication samamoodi 7,2 (10-palli süsteemis). Turunduses kukkusid kahjuks pooled osavõtjad läbi (5,5 on see piir, kus läbid aine), nii et seal oli minu hinne päris hea. Ahjaa, Intercultural Communication'i hindeks tuli 7. Rohkem hetkel pole informatsiooni jagada.

Well, a small overview of my doings in the last week:

Been to school tiny bit and around the town.

Also, visited Amsterdam with girls on Tuesday! It was cold and rainy, but the mood and the atmosphere in Amsterdam was this time much more positive! Maybe the fact that it was Tuesday helped a bit so there were less tourists. Also Red Lights District was empty from the girls. Though the smell of weed was still present on the streets.

First went around the central, did all the touristy stuff. For example, went to every cheese shop and tried out every cheese there, stared at sex-shop windows with amazed looks and enjoyed the good company. Also visited one small Italian restaurant next street from Flower market, where at first we were the only clients, but the prices were quite fine compared to all the other restaurants in the center. Next decided to walk around a bit while visiting all the nice shops and starting/dreaming about 200€ shoes, and then find a nice small cafe where to have the best cakes in the world. Randomly walking I noticed one small cafe where the windows were decorated with amazing cakes so we just walked in! Luckily some of the customers were just leaving and we got one table for us (it was seriously a really small cafe as there were only 3 tables). Each one of us took one piece of heavenly good cake. It was exactly the cafe I would take my parents to (whenever they will come to visit me). Our tummies were as full as possible and slowly started going back to the Central Station.

On Wednesday stayed at home most of the day but managed to sort our quite a lot of important things. For example Estonian National Health Care surprised me positively as they replied to my e-mail with less than 12 hours and stated that everything has been sorted out already. That was really positive surprise. 

Ohhhhhh, and of course I can't not mention that we went to the cinema to see Bond. Yep, my first cinema experience here in the Netherlands. First of all, there were no ticket offices. I mean, there were machines where you can buy the tickets and choose the seats. Very complicated text in Dutch but well, three heads are three heads + using logical thinking, managed to get our tickets fine. The cinema itself was BIG! Though I didn't like cinemas in England then Dutch cinemas are completely different. Modern, simple and big. The prices are of course high compared to Estonia super-cheap prices, for example student tickets start at 7€... (In Estonia you can get a ticket for 3,5€ or something like that). The movie was of course amazingly cool! :)

Yesterday jumped on my bike and went to discover The Hague a tiny bit more. Here are some very beautiful areas where I have never been (there are lots of them!). Went to see The Peace Palace which was very beautiful. Then I decided to find Estonian Embassy but I got lost. Yeah, I rode my bike to unknown direction. But I managed to stay calm and enjoy the situation. Finally ended up near the Central Station from where I kind of knew which direction to go. Honestly, I enjoyed this getting lost feeling while discovering the nice places around here. In the end I did find Estonian Embassy, blue-black-white flag was noticed from a long distance from this tiny Embassy. 

Next week the second term starts. The schedule is changed, now I might have some Tuesdays off from uni. All the other days need to be at school.

Oh yeah- the exams... Well, so far I am pretty happy. Marketing was 7,2 and Introduction to Communication was 7,2 also (out of 10). Sadly half of the students failed Marketing (5,5 is the passing grade), so my grade there was quite good. Oh and Intercultural Communication exam was 7. At the moment I don't have any more information.

Nii juhtub, kui eksamid toimuvad kõik ühe nädala jooksul

Väikene paus on ilmselgelt blogi-pidamises tekkinud, kuid katsun jälle "rööbastele" saada.

Nimelt toimusid see nädala eksamid. Kokku oli 6 eksamit nelja päeva jooksul. Kaks viimast päeva (neljap ja reede) osutusid eriti keeruliseks, kui unetunnid piirdusid kuskil 6h ringis ning enamus-aega oli pea õpikutes märkmeid tehes. Päris pingeline oli tõesti, ei oleks arvanud, et eksamid nii keerulised on. 

Enamused eksamid olid valik-vastustega, mis alguses võivad tunduda lihtsamad, kuid tegelikult kui ikka teooriad selged pole, siis vastust leida 5-valiku seast polegi nii kerge. 

Ühel eksamil põrusin juba, piinlik tunnistada. Hollandi keele suuline läks päris kehvasti ning pean jaanuaris uuesti tegema. Kuid pole hullu- selleks ajaks vast ikka oskan rohkem! Eks need kaks nädalat Eestis mõjutasid ka seda keeleõpingut...

Ülejäänud eksamid... Oeh, ei oskagi kohe midagi kommenteerida. Läksid nii nagu läksid. Mõni paremini, mõni halvemini. Tulemused peaksid saabuma järgneva nädala jooksul (ametlikult on neil aega 3 nädalat parandamiseks!), kuid me loodame varem tulemused kätte saada. 

Nüüd oleme kõik siin üritanud puhata raskest nädalast (see nädal tundus kuidagi ERITI pikk olevat eksamitega). Eks ikka eksamite lõppu tuleb tähistada, reedel sai siis klassikaaslastega väljas käidud, samuti sai eile ning täna tulevad meil mõned inimesed külla. Ehk üritame oma sotsiaalset elu tagasi saada.

Hello!

So, I haven't been blogging for a while cause of the exams week but I'm gonna try to get back on the tracks with that. Well yeah, as mentioned before, we had our exam this week. All together had 6 exams. The last two days (Thursday and Friday) seemed to be very difficult as I didn't get much sleep (around 6h per day) and most of the time my head was in the books. I actually didn't expect the exams period to be so stressful.

Anyways, most of the exams were multiple-choice ones which may sound easy at first but in reality when you  don't know the theories then choosing a right answer from 5 choices is not that easy. 

Well, I failed one of the exams already... Dutch oral- yay. Need to re-sit it in January.. But oh well, hopefully by then I know it better! Also I think these 2 weeks back in Estonia didn't help much with learning a new language... 

The rest of the exams... Don't know what to say about them. Went the way they went. Some better, some worse. I hope we will get the results next week (though officially they have 3 weeks time to mark them!). 

Now we have been sleeping a lot (most of the time :)). Of course we had to celebrate the end of our exams week, so on Friday went out to town, on Saturday went to one house-party and today some of our friends are coming over. Basically, trying to get the social life back.

kuna ma ei jaksa enam õppida, siis lisan pilte eilsest Halloweeni peost

Pikka juttu mul ka rääkida pole.

Eesti suursündmused seisnevad hetkel lumes nagu kõiksugused (sotsiaal) meediakanalid mulle teavitavad. Võin lohutuseks öelda, et meil on ka suur külmalaine siin. Rattaga sõita on ikka kuradi külm (kuskil 5-6 kraadi õues), kuid õnneks täna sai päikest ka üle pika aja näha. Seega stiilne oli olla vana-vanaema kootud käpikutega, suure karvamütsiga ja päikseprillidega. 

Eilne läks hästi, ma ausaltöeldes ei tunne osadel piltidel ise-ennastki väga ära. Nalja sai õhtu jooksul palju, klubi oli rahvusvahelisi tudengeid täis ning enam-vähem kõik olid kostümeeritud (mis on ainult positiivne). Siinkohal annan "sõna" piltidele, kuna lihtsalt puudub jaks kirjeldada seda karnevali (ning ema tahtis ka näha, mis Halloweeni pidu siis endast ette kujutab). Kokkuvõttes, pidu oli hea ning täna oli ka päris "hea" olla... :)

Prr, ja ainult üks päev veel eksamiteni (ja esmaspäeval on ka kahe suure projekti tähtajad. Ühe lõpetasin just 5 minutit tagasi, teine vajab veel viimaseid lihvimisi homme). 

 päris palju verd.. Tahtsin Zombie olla, kuid ma ei ole kindel, mis ma lõpuks olin :)

 See tegelane oli end lihtsalt tualett-paberi sisse sättinud.

Need kaks pilti (nunnad ja nunna jalg) on ühed õhtu parimad. See ülemine on lihtsalt nii geniaalne.

These two photos (the leg and the nuns) are one of the best ones from the night. The upper one is just genius!

So, I don't have much to say.

In Estonia, the biggest news are currently about the snow, at least that's what I hear through every (social) media channel. I can say that it is freaking cold here too. Riding a bike is freeeezing (it's around 5-6 degrees outside), luckily the sun was shining today over a really long time. So I was really awesome today riding around with my grate-grandmother made mittens, a big hairy hat and sunglasses on. 

Yesterday went well, to be honest I can't recognize myself from some of the photos done yesterday. The evening was about lots of fun, the club was full of international students again and most of them had some kind of costume on (which is only positive!). Just loot at the photos cause I am way too tired by now to start describing yesterday's carnival ;) (Also, my mum wanted to see these photos). Generally, the party was good and today the feeling is pretty "good" too... :)

ohhhh, and only 1 day to go until the exams (also, there are 2 assignments to be handed in on Monday. Finished one around 5 minutes ago, the second one needs to be finished tomorrow).

ma ei oleks iial arvanud, et voodi võib nii õnnelikuks teha

Jap, ma sain endale lõpuks voodi. Mis ta võttis: 2 kuud. Algne plaan oli, et emme-issi tulevad külla ja siis nemad on nii armsad-lahked-toredad ning ostavad mulle voodi, kuid plaanid muutuvad. Ehk emme-issi ei tule mulle (hetkel) külla. Kuid õnneks Rene isa oli täna nii tore (tal on sünnipäev ka täna, seega palju õnne veel kord), et käisime kõik koos Delfti (kõrvallinna) avastamas ning seal on ka meie kallis IKEA, kus siis soetasin voodi ja laua ja termose. Ja küünlad. 

Projekt VOODI:

Kulus 1,5 tundi.

2 korda suutsin oma blondimõistusega osad jupid valesti kokku panna. 

Punetav pöial käib asja juurde.

Ning suurepärane-hüper-super-mõnus tunne, et mul on voodi. Ja laud. Ja ilus tuba.

(Tuba näeb küll visuaalselt väiksem välja jälle, kuna voodi siiski võtab ruumi, kuid armas on ta ikka). 

Peale pikka väsitavat päeva (ärme unusta siinkohal, et päev pole veel läbi), peaks oma õpikud lahti võtma. Ning paar peatükki läbi lugema. Noh, ikka selleks, et eksamitel edukalt esineda. 

Delft'i linnake oli kena, ilus ja ehtne Hollandi linn. Ehk täis kanaleid ja 2-3 suurt kirikut kuulusid asja juurde. Lisaks oli muidugi kesklinnas suur turg, mis muudab linna veel rohkem hollandi päraseks. 

Ning, päeva tipphetk- postkasti saabus ametlik kinnitus, et ma olen registreeritud munitsipaalametis (käisin seda esmaspäeval nõudmas uuesti).

Lihtsalt väga-väga tore päev (ning kes teab, võib veelgi paremaks minna!!).

(Title of the post: Never thought that a bed could make someone so happy)

Yeah, I finally got myself a bed. It took 2 months. First I thought that my parents are coming over (around now) and they would be so cute-kind-nice that they will buy me a bed. But plans change. So my mum and dad are not coming over (at the moment). But luckily Rene's dad was so nice today (he has a birthday too, so happy-happy birthday to him again), that we went all together sightseeing in Delft (town next the The Hague) and of course in Delft there's IKEA. Got myself a bed, a small table and some candles.

Project BED:

It took 1,5 hours.

Managed to put some parts together in a wrong way twice (with my blond brain)

Red thumb goes with the building (putting parts together).

And a super-hyper-great feeling, that I have a bed. And a table. And a really nice room.

(The room seems visually smaller but nevertheless I love it)

After long and tiring day (let's don't forget the fact that the day is not over yet!), I should open my books. Read few chapters.. Well, to perform well on my first exams of course.

The city of Delft itself was nice, pretty and real Dutch city I would say. So, it was full of nice canals, there were 2-3 big churches and of course there was an open market in the main square (I assume it was a main square). This makes it even more Dutch in my point of view. 

Oh, and the best part of the day- I received an official letter from municipal agency that I have been registered here (went to ask for that on Monday again...) :) 

Generally, an extremely good day (and who knows, the day may even get better!!).
