Ma pole kindel, kas süüdistada teise aasta õppematerjale või ise-ennast nii haledas blogimises. 

Kooli poole pealt võin kosta lihtsalt, et õppimist jagub kuhjaga ja kuigi hetkel käsil kõigest 3s nädal, siis tunne on selline, et eksamid hakkavad homme ja kõikide projektide tähtajad on samuti juba täna keskkööl. Selline pinge on pidevalt peal. Ma ei tea isegi mille pärast. Võib-olla oleme ise targemad, ja üritame asju varasemalt teha ning mitte viimasele minutile jätta.

Jagaks siinkohal mõned (üsnagi mõttetud) faktid, mida olen käesoleval nädalal koolimajas teada saanud:

• Cross-Cultural Management õppejõud teatas täna, et me polegi väga lollid (kuigi me ei tunne Aafrika kaarti)
• Sama õppejõud teatas, et meie IQ on vähemalt 50, kuna seda taset on inimesel vaja ukse avamiseks 
• Nuudlid tähistavad Hiinas pikka eluiga. Sünnipäevadel pidavat vanem generatsioon sünnipäeval ainult ühte nuudlit sööma. Tähendab, antud nuudel on nii pikk, et terve kauss on seda täis
• (osade) Aasia õpilaste jaoks on paljud asjad Hollandis väga suured/kõrged. Näiteks avalikes tualettruumides on peeglid tihtipeale liiga kõrgele asetatud nende jaoks (polegi siuksest vaatenurgast seda riiki veel avastaunud).

Mu selle aasta Aasia õpilased on väga lahedad. Tüdrukute grupp on, kuid nad on võrdlemisi toredad ja meie tunnid on täitsa mmm okeid. Ütleks nii. Järgnevad kaks nädalat saan endale ühe ekstra grupi (asendan üht teist juhendajat) ning loodan, et õnnestub asendamine. Aga noh, lisaraha vastu pole ju mul midagi... Üks minu õpilastest kutsus reedeks mingisugusele peole. Kus on ainult Hiina õpilased. Ma olen hetkel kahevahel kas võtta kutse vastu või mitte. 

Hannah ja Tamara (kursaõed) korraldasid eelmine reede enda soolaleivapeo. Tahtsin meie armsast kingist pilti teha, aga kahjuks ei õnnestunud (vist sai natukene palju veini tarbitud). Tegelikult suutsin kingipaki täpselt enne üleandmist katki ka veel teha. Pidu iseenesest oli lahe, kuna inimesed jõid minu (õigemini Eelinilt saadud) retsepti järgi tehtud super-head jooki ja kõigil oli tuju hea. 

Oh, ja paar nädalat tagasi käisin esimest korda Utrechti külastamas. Kiire külastuskäik oli, ehk siis kesklinn ja põhikanalid said läbi jalutatud kiirkorras (kuna vihm oli üsnagi häiriv). Käisin seal ühe kohalikuga, kes näitas siis põhituristi kohad ära. Seletas mulle pikalt, et siin asub kõige kuulsam kirik Hollandis, kuid miks see kuulus on, seda ta mulle seletada ei osanud (ma olen ise samasugune Tallinna vanalinnas). 

I am not sure, whether to blame the second year of uni or myself of such a lame blogging. 

I can only state that we have a lot to study this year. I mean, we are only in our 3rd week of studies, but it feels like the exams are starting tomorrow and the deadlines for the projects are today's midnight. The pressure is onnnnn babe. I even don't know why I feel like this. Maybe we are just little-tiny-bit smarter this year and trying to start with our group-works earlier (not to leave them to very last minute). 

Hereby, I would like to share some (rather pointless) facts that I have learnt this week in the lovely place called University:

• Cross-cultural Management teacher announced today, that we are really not that stupid (although we do not know the map of Africa)
• The same teacher said, that our IQ is at least 50 just because we are able to open the doors
• Noodle represents long life in China. On their birthdays, the older generation eats just one noodle. By that I mean that the noodle itself is so loooong that the whole bowl is full of it
• (for some) Asian students, many things in the NL are very high/ tall. For example, going to a public toilet may not be as fun if the mirrors are placed that high that it is nearly impossible to see your eyes (I haven't thought of Holland from that viewpoint yet.)

Generally speaking, my this year students are really awesome. Girls only, but they are rather fun and our classes are totally fine. So far. The next 2 following weeks I will have an extra group (replacing one other coach) and I hope it is gonna be fine. But well, extra money is always good... And one of my Chinese students invited me to her party on Friday. Only Chinese students. I am in between currently whether to accept the offer or not.

Hannah and Tamara (course mates) threw a house-warming party last Friday. I wanted to take a photo of the lovely gift we made, but sadly I didn't succeed (could blame the wine). In reality, I managed to ruin the look of the gift (the wrapping paper) right before handing it to the hosts. The party itself was cool, especially cause people were drinking a nice punch made out of my (or rather Eelin's) recipe. Everyone was feeling happy.

Oh, and couple of weeks ago I visited Utrecht for the first time. The quick visit included the central, and the main canals and shopping street. Went there with one local guy, who showed most of the tourist places to me. He was also explaining of how the most famous church is located there, but why is it famous for, he couldn't tell me (I am the same in Tallinn's old town).

Vihmane pärastlõuna Hollandis (järjekordselt)

No.. Veidi piinlik, et üle kahe kuu pole oma mõtteid-tegevusi-olevusi kirja pannud. Kahetseda ei ole aga midagi, kuna võrdlemisi palju asju juhtunud antud aja jooksul.

Suvi oli tore. Muidugist (väga muud võimalust polegi ju). Töö juures sai küll pool suve veedetud, ehk siis Villa Mary Restoran & Lounge's ringi jookstud. Koht iseenesest oli / on super! Kogemus oli ka super ausaltöeldes. Suve jooksul vingusin küll vist päris palju, et väga tappev töö, kuid kokkuvõttes olen megarahul, et seal toimetasin. Sai uusi tutvusi, kogemust ja kujutan ette, et ilma selle tööta oleks suvi võrdlemisi igav olnud (kuna enamus mu sõpruskonnast töötas). 

Üks tore sündmus- nädalake oli, kui Hannah ja Alise mulle külla tulid. Demonstreerisin neile muidugi Tallinna tänavaid, Haabneeme randa, Helsinkis käisime üks päev ning Tallinna ööelu ka muidugi. Neile jäi mulje, et Tallinn on shottide linn. No võib-olla jäi tõesti selline mulje, kui külastasime 4 erinevat baari, kus võtsime mõnusaid pisikesi jooke ja edasi suundusime Studiosse jalga keerutama. Aga lahe oli näidata oma kodumaad ;)

Robbie Williams'it suutsin ka viimase-hetke otsusena vaatama minna- show oli ju väga väga võimas. Kuigi, parimaks kontserdiks ma seda nimetada ei saa- ma arvan, et siinkohal on tegemist asjaoluga, et ma lihtsalt ei ole ta suurim fänn. Aga üldiselt hea suvi oli. Check-list sai enamvähem täidetud ka.

Tagasi siia vihmasesse riiki jõudsin tegelikult juba 22. august. Rene oli selleks ajaks juba siin, nii et päris üksi ei pidanud olema... Kuid jah, ausaltöeldes oli igav alguses. Kuna inimesi siin väga ei olnud. Siis aga saabus mu väikevend Olla oma kaaslase Triinuga. Ja tegid mu päevad kohe palju värvilisemaks! No ja muidugi tulid kõik ülejäänud sõbrad ka umbes samal ajal + koolis hakkas Introduction period uutele õpilastele (kus ma juhendasin neid). 

Aga Olla ja Triinuga käisime Rotterdamis, käisime Amsterdamis ja siinses rannas ja siin linna peal. Ja nautisime lihtsalt elu. Nad olid tõesti super külalised, kes ei vingunud ning olid kogu aeg megaaktiivsed (jah, ma kiidan teid)... Muidugi tegime proovi ka Eestis keelustatud ainetega. Ja meil oli päris lõbus, eriti naljakas on neid videod vaadata, mis sellest õhtust alles on (Oliver naerukrampide kätte suremas). 

Koolis sai introduction period läbi ka, ühtegi eestlast minu kursusele kahjuks sattunud pole. Järjekordselt. Aga palju kohalikke on- ehk siis hollandlasi. Iseenesest tore, et kohalikud õpilased ka huvituvad nii rahvusvahelisest erialast. 

Hiina õpilastega jätkan samuti. Mul on neid ainult üks grupp see kord, 3 Hiina tüdrukut + üks Indoneesiast. Räägivad võrdlemisi hästi inglise keelt (mis on ainult hea). Loodan igatahes, et nad jäävad sama aktiivseteks nagu nad hetkel on. Sellist gruppi õpetaks meeleldi. 

Mul hakkas ka kool lõpuks. Jälle megapalju grupitöid ees ootamas ja uurimustöid, ja intervjueerimist. Eksameid polegi väga palju see semester, kuna enamus hinded saame tänu uurimus-ja grupitöödele. Ning üks või kaks suulist eksamit samuti. Näiteks üks suuline eksam kujutab endast nö pressikonverentsi, kus ma pean mängima teatud ettevõtte suhtekorraldajat ja pressikonverentsil olema suuteline kriitilistele küsimustele vastama. Tõotab tulla üsna keeruline, eriti kui suudan närvi minna ja puterdama. Aga 6 nädalat selleni veel aega! Keep up the good work!

So... A little bit embarrassing that I haven't been writing for the past couple of months about my life. Though there's nothing to regret, cause quite a lot of things have happened meanwhile.

The summer was nice of course (obviously there's no other option). I spent more than half of my time at work, so in Villa Mary Restoran & Lounge. The place itself is super! To be honest, the experience gained was also super. Over the summer I believe I was complaining a lot to my friends and family how exhausting the job was, but overall I am really happy that I was there. I got some new acquaintances, the experience and I believe I would have been pretty bored without that job (as most of my friends were also working). 

One good event- week was when Hannah and Alise came to visit me. I demonstrated them Tallinn's streets, Haabneeme's beach, one day in Helsinki together with Aino and of course Tallinn's nightlife. They said that Tallinn seemed like such a shot-city. Well, maybe yes, if I took them to 4 different bars just to have those little colorful drinks called shots. The night continued with a visit to a nightclub named Studio. But it was cool to show my country ;)

As a very last-minute decision I managed to go to see Robbie Williams's concert in Tallinn also. The show itself was really powerful! Though, I can't say it was the best concert ever- I think that is cause I'm not a huge fan of him. But generally I had a lovely summer. Most of the things on my check-list were succeeded. 

I actually got back to this rainy country on the 22nd of August already. Rene was back by then so I wasn't completely alone, however, the first days were rather boring as not many students were here yet. But then, my little brother Oliver and his gf Triin arrived. And made my days much more colorful! Well, most of my buddies got back around the same time + the introduction period for 1st years started around the same time (I was mentoring). 

With my lovely Estonians, we went to Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, and to th

e beach and just around The Hague also. Just enjoyed the life. They were really nice guests to have, as they were behaving really well :D Of course we tried some substances, which happen to be illegal in Estonia. Oh, and we had pretty fun time, it is especially funny to watch the videos filmed at the very same time (Oliver dying laughing). 

The introduction period in school is over by now, no new Estonians sadly. Once again. But there are many local students - so Dutch people this year. Kind of awesome, that local students are also interested in such an international course. 

I am also continuing with my Chinese students. This time I only have one group: 3 Chinese girls and 1 Indonesian. They all speak pretty fine English (better for me). Anyways, I'm hoping that they gonna be as active as they are now. To teach this group is nice so far. 

Also, I finally started with my own lecturers/ courses. Again, super- many group-works waiting ahead and assignments and interviews. We don't have that many exams, as most of the grades are gonna be gained by the assignments. Including one or two oral exams. For example, in one course we are presenting a company, by being a PR manager, and having a press conference in crisis. Quite horrible but well, we have 6 weeks til then. Keep up the good work!
